Literature Text

eva was a lonely girl,
a derivative.
the sweet white curve of a rib
wandering

a lonely girl.

eva was
engulfed in a great white wave of ennui,
the urge to do something.
eva planted a garden
lonely girl.

eva's trees grew tall and strong,
shelter and source of life,
disallowed forever.

a friend in a tree,
limber and waiting
limbs like silk and words like serum
[an anaesthetic honey on
candied apples.]

a friend,
forbidden.

eva was a lonely girl.
eva was a lonely girl.
even a serpent would have been welcome.

fragmentary.
unrelated to anything irl, for once. and literal, too. :>

feeling biblical, probably because of what i'm writing for my non-fiction essay right now. i'm not religious at all. what is this

maybe i should just stop talking to people for a while.
